QuestionIf i introduced a leopard gecko into the same environment as my viper geckos, would it cause a problem? They have the same habitat requirements and i am fairly certain it would work, but i am worried that my viper geckos would be eaten. The smaller of the 2 vipers is 2 1/2 inches, while the bigger is 3 1/2 inches. Is this an option?
AnswerHi David,
I wouldn't chance it. The vipers size could be a meal for the leo.
Most geckos really do not like other gecko species..... Even though their care is basically the same, its just not worth the risk.
The other problem is, that sometimes different species carry diseases that to their own species, isn't a problem, but to other species can be deadly.
