Rabbits and water

Please can you tell me if rabbits can swim?

I have a stream at the bottom of my garden and I am nervous that my rabbit may attempt to cross it as he is very adventurous,

Hi Debbie,
No, rabbits cannot swim but how deep is the stream? If it is only a couple of inches deep he will be able to paddle and may even enjoy it! But even if this is the case don't let him out of your sight! You have to be just as careful with your rabbit as you would be with a very small child.
