Question
Hi Natasha,

I have a 12 week old dwarf lop who has started to bite (nip).
I am trying to handle him as much as i can but he doesnt like it and try to run away.
Do you have any tips for trying to tame him and stop him biting? i want to be able to handle him without being scared of getting biten!

Thanks

Answer
Hiya,
well when you go to pick your rabbit up, sit on the floor and just start calling your rabbits name. Then if he comes over to you, just gently put out your hand and let him smell it cause this way he will get to know your scent. Then just talk to him in a soft voice and if possible begin to stoke him and give him a treat if you have any and say GOOD BOY. Then when this works just try and gently pick him up, if you succed give him another treat and tell him what a good boy he is, if you dont and he runs away...Try again.

This will not work straight away ok,it takes time and paitence.
I hope this helps and good luck from natasha
