Question
Hi, I have 2 bonded bunnies. Just wondering if I should have 2 cages. I have one 48'' cage now, and the cage door is always open. Do I need get another cage?
Thanks a lot.

Answer
Hi Minhua,

well, if they are bonded together, I would think they don't want to be apart if they are resting up in the cage together.

Now, if you want to give them another cage in a different room to rest in or use as another play area, you can do that.  But you don't need a separate cage for each of them.  It is not recommended to forcibly separate bonded rabbits because you may wind up breaking the bond.  And if you do that, then you will need to keep them separate and go through a re-bonding process.
