Rabbit not allowing baby in cage

Question
Hi, I have an 8month old spayed female girl bunny. About 2 weeks ago i bought her a 9 week old boy as a friend. Introductions went fine with no aggression. They have the run of my room during the day and are inseparate cages at night. He chases her alot but she never seems to show any aggression, and she lets him groom her although sometimes runs off after a bit. Today I bought a massive cage to try them in together, however everytime the baby ran up to her she tried to run away then started lunging at him. Do you think she would prefer to have a separate cage to him at night and just the run of the room together during the day or will she eventually be ok sharing a cage with him as i'm a student and was kindof hoping they would be ok to share a cage when i went home for christmas.
Thanks :)
Sam

Answer
The issue here is that the doe has made her cage her territory. She sees the buck as an invasion to her home, so this is why she is lunging at him. They are getting  along outside the pens because neither has marked it as theirs. They will need to live in separate cages if she is still fighting him. Letting them run during the day together should be fine. Once your male matures, he should probably be fixed or else he will be trying to breed the female, and this may cause a fight since she is fixed. If you don't you probably will have to keep them separate at all times.
