her little nest she has made.Is my doe rabbit a MOM?PLEASE HELP ME I REALLY NEED
TO KNOW."

ANSWER: Hi Michelle,

yes she is pregnant.  Your dad should not have done that if you didn't want a litter.

Whatever day this happened, count out between 28 and 31 days and this will be the timeframe of the day she will give birth.

You need to go to the House Rabbit Society web page and search on the topics "newborn", "babies", "nestbox", "nest", "pregnant".  You will find a lot of useful articles that will help you in the coming weeks.

Never NEVER put intact rabbits of the opposite sex together.  They will become pregnant.

If you are not breeding on purpose, you need to get them all fixed by a good reliable rabbit vet.  Their hormonally driven behavior will go down a lot or be eliminated, and the females will live twice as long (85% die of uterine cancer by age 6).

QUESTION: Hello lee
She has already made a nest in a thigh that is enclosed and I can't see in.BTW your the best! thank you you a lot and please reply Thanks again Michelle

Answer
Hi Michelle,

I don't knwo what you are saying when you say the "nest in a thigh".  I don't understand what you mean.

The nest building activity can mean they are coming soon.  Normally moms will stay away from the nest when babies are present so as not to draw attention to the nest (predators).  But please get her fixed if you aren't breeding on purpose and get the boys fixed as well.  There is much less demand and way over-supply of rabbits.  It is a hard life being a breeder.  It callouses you towards the feelings of your animals.

I hope you check out the resources I mentioned before.  They are excellent and will be indispensible to you in the upcoming weeks.
