Male or Female??????

I have a litter of 10 week old bunnies and they are all in one cage now. I need to separate them but I'm having a hard time sexing them and I don't want any accidental litters. Do you have any tips for me?

The way I can always tell is that the slit in a doe goes all the way back to the anus.  If I have a rabbit that I am not sure of it is usually a boy.  It is so hard to sex rabbits but with practice you will get better.  When I first started I was wrong all of the time.

Honestly by 10 weeks old the boys should be starting to show their penis.  If you push gently on the vent a small nob will protrude.  However if you push to hard on a female the interior flesh can protrude.

I personally would put them all in their own cages but I understand that not everyone has a huge barn to do this.  I have a web-site to show you and it will show you pictures.  Hopefully it will be helpful but just remember that if the slit goes all the way to the back then it is a girl.  Boys will look more rounded and their slit will have a few millimeters of space in between the vent and the anus.
