Question
hi i was wanting to ask again that some time i let my rabbit out in the back garden for an hour or two and after locking him up in his wooden hutch he starts biting the wood and tearing it up, two minutes after i put him away?
       thanks

Answer
Dear Martin,

It's because he wants OUT again.  He thinks it's very unfair to be locked up after only an hour or two in the garden, which isn't by far enough for an active young rabbit.

Instead of locking him up in his boring hutch, why not make him into a wonderful house rabbit?  He sounds very intelligent, and would make as wonderful an indoor companion as a dog or cat.  Once neutered, he can easily be litterbox trained, and you'll wonder why you waited so long to bring him inside where he can be entertained *and* entertaining!
