Is that true and what can we do about it ? were really worriedthat it will make our bunny sad, she seems to be eating and drinking the same but were still worried

Answer
Dear Sofia,

It sounds as if your bunny has developed urine scald from not being able to posture correctly to urinate.  Please read:

www.bio.miami.edu/hare/urinary.html

www.bio.miami.edu/hare/furloss.html

and especially:

www.bio.miami.edu/hare/buttbath.html

which will help you with instructions on how to keep her clean so that her fur can grow back.

You should be able to find a good vet here:

www.rabbit.org/vets

who can help with the problem, even if it's only with pain medication so she can posture better to urinate. But a full exam will reveal the source of the problem and let you know whether it is treatable, or something that she'll have to deal with for her whole life.  I hope this helps.
