Answer
Dear John,

I can't see the "worms" to identify them, but if they were maggots, then it may mean that you need to be cleaning the litterbox more often.  Flies are drawn to smells of decay, and if you don't clean the litterbox often, the poop and pee will begin to degrade and attract flies.

Check your bunny's vent (under the tail) for any sign of wetness, poop stuck to his fur, or anything else that's not nice, dry, fluffy fur.  If you see wetness, then flies could be attracted to it, lay eggs, and your bunny will have potentially fatal fly strike.

Your bunny should be indoors, where he is safe from this.  If he's not, please read the information here:

http://www.rabbit.org/care/new-bunny-index.html

on litterbox training, etc. so he can be a safe house rabbit.

If you need one, you can find a good rabbit vet here:

www.rabbit.org/vets

If you see *anything* that looks like it could be fly strike on your bunny, you must get him to the vet *immediately* to save his life.

Hope this helps.
