How to tell if my rabits are the same sex

Hi I have 2 rabbits I thought that they were both female but one was humping the other is this normal for 2 female bunnies to do or could I have a male and female. How can you tell the difference.

Dear Kelley,

Rabbits of the same sex will hump each other as a sign of dominance. This can result in fighting if the humped bunny objects, so be sure not to let this get out of hand.

If the rabbits are of opposite sex, then it's time for spay/neuter:
