Bunny sniffles

I had two bunnies that died from what looked like cold symptoms.  From what i read it could have been the "sniffles"  Is it possible that humans can catch this illness?

Humans are generally not susceptible to the same bacteria that cause upper respiratory infections in rabbits, as long as they have a healthy, normal immune system.  Please read this for more information on the condition in rabbits:
