pregnant giant rabbit

hi my french lop bunny is on her second pregnancy, i noticed her tufting her fur lastnight to bed them but ive looked this morning and there are no babies yet. im just wondering if shes ok or she needs to see a vet

Hi Nadine,

Sometimes rabbits will make a nest 2 weeks before they have babies.  She doesn't need to go to the vet unless you see her having labored breathing, hunching, bleeding or a kit sticking out.  Rabbits will go off feed while they are in labor.  If she goes off feed and hasn't had babies within 24 hours then yes she needs to go to a vet.
