Pigs & Dogs

Question
Hey i am looking into getting a miniature pot bellied pig and my girlfriend has a lovely dog. Her dog is quite submissive and docile. gets along well with all other dogs and never seems to have the need to be "Top Dog". If i bring the pig in as a piglet do you think that they could be compatible and even one day become friends? would having a dog around from a young age also make the pig less aggressive and more obedient?

Hello,
If you introduce the pig at a young age they should get along very well.
Just take your time and let them go at their own pace as far as getting to know each other.
I don't know as the dog will influence the piglet as they are very much self thinkers but he will keep the piglet entertained and happy.
