Question
Hi Dennis is 6 months old and this morning seemed really nervous. He sat on my knew buried his head under my arm and was really shaking. He has eaten and toileted normally, but when he is sat with me has real body tumours like my dog when he is cold or scared. Is this anything to worry about.
Cheers
Clare

Answer
I am not a veterinarian and nobody can provide medical treatment over the internet.

I am not sure what you mean by "body tumours", so I'm guessing these are "goosebumps". Pigs can, and do, get goosebumps when they are cold, and sometimes when they have a fever. They also shake and shiver when they are cold.

The shivering and goosebumps can also be a sign of fever. If the shaking and shivering doesn't go away in a day or so he'll need to see a vet. Danger signs include not eating, not going potty, lack of energy, vomiting, and seizures.
