Shaking/Squealing

Question
I got a mini pot belly piglet when she was 8 weeks old, she just turned 11 weeks old today. We keep her inside because it is so cold outside, but come this spring she will become an outside piggy. Since we got her she tends to do this shaking thing while she breathes and has a very low squeal sound that makes her sound like she is breathing hard. She only shakes when she makes this sound and I am worried that she may be sick. We have treated her for mange, she got her second dose two days ago and will probably need a third because hers was pretty bad. She eats, drinks, and uses the bathroom very well. She is not constipated at all. I am just worried she may have pneumonia or another illness, or if this is normal.

Answer
I am not a veterinarian and can not make a medical diagnosis over the internet.

What you are describing does not sound normal. She may have mild pneumonia, or a foreign object lodged somewhere in her nasal cavity.

She needs to see a veterinarian to figure out what is wrong. There's a list of vets that see pet pigs at www.farec.org
