My Rat is bleeding from her vagina area.

My rat's vagina has been bleeding for 2 days now, today being the worst.  She's about 8 weeks old,  I'm not sure how much she weighs, I don't have anything to weigh her with.  She seems okay to other than the bleeding part.  Please, any advice would help, I'm really worried about her and all the vets are closed.

I think I've already answered this one, but vaginal bleeding is serious. Unless she has a simple urinary tract infection, you can't be sure she's not having issues with kidneys, tumors, or even  miscarried pregnancy. If the vet is closed, try contacting the local SPCA and see if they can recommend someone. Also, they may be able to treat your sweet girl for a lot less money.

In the meantime, make notes if you see her ears turning blue or more pink. If there is any other discharge other than blood, write down what it is. Feel her belly for any hard lumps. Gently run your fingers towards her tail. If it stiffens up, you have got to get her to a vet FAST.
