pet mouse

hi i have 2 pet mice (females) that i got 3 days ago and one is really skiddish
and one just sits around all the time, she doesnt do anything. They sound like
they are fighting everynight, i can hear them rustling around and squeeking then
they split up and stop. can you tell me anything about these behaviors

As long as no one is getting hurt, it's normal for rats and mice to "fight". It's entertainment for them at night when they are most active. You can usually tell the difference between a play squeak and a "Help me!" squeak. A short little pip is normal whereas a bad one would sound more like a scream. Check them in the morning to make sure that they aren't getting hurt and they're probably fine.
