injured or sick rat?

what happened to my rat? swelling around neck and shoulder? is
she in pain? can i help her? can't afford vet don't want her
to suffer or die?

Answer
I can not tell you exactly what happened to her as I am not a vet and I was not there to see what ever happened happen. She needs to be seen by a vet asap because she may be suffering, Should could possible have been bitten by something.
