Left something out in previous questions

In part of a previoua questions I asked why my rat has been cleaning the cloth that she's laying on and thought that it may be due to the fact that she's wearing an Elizabethan Collar and can't clean herself.

I did have one of her teeth cut down as it was pretty large. I was just thinking that maybe this might be why she's doing what I have been assuming is cleaning. Could this be a cause for her gnawing on her bedding so much?

How long has it been since you had her tooth trimmed? It sounds like she's just getting used to having shorter teeth. Either that or, like you said, she could be cleaning. Keep watching her and see if you can tell the difference between gnawing and cleaning.
