rat anorexia?

Hi,
I have a boy who has always been emotional and kind of skittish.  He stresses out easily. I've noticed him losing some weight, but he's still eatting and drinking. I went on vacation for 5 days and had a friend watch him (and his 2 brothers).  When I came back he looks even more frail than before (I can feel his spine) and hes actually losing hair from behind his head. To me this looks like anorexia- but I'm not sure whats causing it= stress? worms?
I just spent $200 on surgery for one of the boys last week and can't afford another vet visit :(
any help would be much appreciated

Hello Roma,
your rat may have a combination of stress or other things. If you are unable to take your rat to a vet you need to hand feed your rat with a feeding syringe and mash up his food and mix with warm water. I'd call a vet and see what else can be done because this is truly an emergency.
