rat is bleeding, nose and eye

Question
Hi, I have a baby rat, approx. 6 weeks old. My mom and I were transporting him from the pet store to home when his box opened while my mom was carrying him and he fell about 3 feet onto our driveway. I immediately scooped him up and carried him inside very carefully. He tried to run right after he was dropped, and ran normally so I don't suspect any other injuries.
It's been a few hours and at first he was jumpy and nervous, but he seems to have calmed down. But, he is bleeding from his nose (not much just enough to be noticed) and also from what might be the tear duct of his eye.
He had no signs of poryphorin, I checked him very carefully before I bought him. So this is definitely actual blood. He's been drinking regularly, and I put Vita drops in with his water. In the 3 hours after, his eye has gotten better and looks the same as his left, but his nose is still spotting. I cleaned his nose with warm water and wiped at his eye a bit, but I'm wondering if there is anything else I should do? There are no exotic vets within 45 minutes of us, and they have really odd schedules so I'm not sure how soon I can take him to a vet if need be. Thanks and I hope you can shed a little light on this situation.

Answer
How are you sure this is not porphyrin?  When he fell, how did he land?

You said there are no vets within 45 mins from you so does that mean there is someone that is 45 mins. from you that can see the rat?  I have to drive an hour to see my rats vet.
