Impertigo

Question
Can rats have impertigo?  My daughters pet rat has had a sore on its back for the last 3 weeks and now my daughter has impertigo.  I am concerened for my grandson who is only 20 months ols, i don't want him gettin it.

Yes rats can get Impetigo, but no, you rat did not give your daughter impetigo.
Its just a viral infection, and domesticated rats cannot give disease to humans, but we can gith diseases/flu's to them if they are severe enough.
