sorry to answer back like this there was to many followups,but his cage is next to my dresser in my room.why do you ask?

I ask because if he were left in a room that was used only for animals (like what I have ave, which is a spare room I keep my rats, bunny and hermit crabs in) he may be lonely, but if he is  in a room where you spend most of your time, your able to at least be around him so he can hear and see you. Regardless though, we need to work on getting Grams to agree to another cagemate.  :-)
