I feel ur pain

Question
Today March 12,09 i came home only to discover my pet rat Rocket lying
dead right next to the water and food.My other rat died 2 months ago from
Michaels infection.Had red mucas coming out of his eyes and nose and a
posseble  respitory infection.The dease called Mycoplasom disorder and i
possibly think that it covered his nasel passages completely.So instead of an
oppentment at 8:00 now i have an atopsy to find out wut happend.Please
message me A.S.A.P!Thanks ooo and im 10 yrs old.

Mycoplasma pulmonis, the organism that almost all rats in the general pet population carry is the cause of the majority of respiratory and genital infections in rats. The organism is carried in the upper respiratory system and is transmitted by direct contact between mother and babies, by sexual transfer, through the air over short distances, and can even be passed to the babies while going through the birth canal if the mother is infected.

Myco, in short, is an organism. Not a disorder or a disease per se, but an organism. It weakens the immune system and leaves them susceptible to all other viruses and bacterium. I hope this helps explain part of what is going on with your rats.
