my female rat

i have a female rat i think she might be imbetween 8 and 18 months im not sure, i want to mate her for the first time i want to know if its dangerous, id want her to have a normal birth  write back.

Sounds like you dont know much about her. Why mate her when you dont even know her age?  Mating rats is done only for one reason and that is to create healthier lines of rats.  Not knowing anything about her, from her health background (not only hers but her mother and father and siblings etc....) means you could be simply making more rats that carry health problems. You also may kill her if she is too old to have babies.

I would leave the breeding to the pros to be honest and just enjoy her like she is.
