What should the temperature be before I take my pet rat outside?

Answer
Well, that depends. Are you going to go outside and hang out, or are you going outside, to the car, to the store, to the car, and home again?

If you're going outside to hang out and your rat will be in your pocket/on your shoulder while you're outside, I recommend a comfortable or slightly cooler temperature - consider between 80* and 65*. If you're going to be outside in passing before going into a climate-controlled environment like a car or building, temperature isn't too worrisome.
