Beaphar ferret vitamin paste??

For the last 2.5 yrs I've been giving toffee beaphar vitamin paste. She absolutely loves the stuff and starts doing her tricks as soon as she sees the tube. It was also recommended on fancy-rats. I went to get some more today from pets at home here in the uk and it says they have added taurine to the ingredients!!
I asked the sales assisstant and she said ferrets and cats (who it's marketed at) can't make their own taurine and need it added in their diet. Wondering about ratties though? Do you know?

It wont harm her, so dont stop giving it to her if it helps and she likes it!!  Female rats are often given kitten food (I dont usually suggest it but some vets do) and it contains taurine (an amino acid) so if the fod is ok, I am sure a bit of vitamin paste with it is just fine, to.
WOW, its amazing she is now 2.5 yrs old! The sweet old girl! I am glad she is doing well. I am eh..ok I guess,  Baby rats are great.  Check them out at my crier city site. The page is called watch my rats grow. They are growing fast. Not long ago they were the size of large mice and now they are getting to be more like semi-adults, with the exception of Jackson. He is my tiny one, but the mighty one, always jumping on this brothers and wrestling. They are busy and are a handful but fun to play with. The brats. lol
