My rat, Orpheus, weepy eyes

Hullo!
I've had my rat for about two months now and he was eight weeks old when I got him.
I noticed this afternoon that he has crusty browny red stuff by his eyes. I was wondering what this is and if its like allergies or something
I do use some sorta wood bedding but Ive been using it for a few weeks now

Also on one of his eyes he has sorta like a ridge ? going all the way down sort of in the middle of his eye. I thought maybe it could be a second eyelid or something coz I know quite a few animals have those but Im not entirely sure
