Question
i would like to know if you approve of rescue remedy or petalive aggression formula for a aggressive pet rat,and if so what would the dosage be for each one.this is a next to last resort for a rescued female from spca, last resort being spaying.have tried trust training, getting bit, having to use gardening gloves to handle her.

Answer
Spaying will do nothing to help with aggression in a female rat.
This is only to help male rats since aggression is linked to hormones. How long have you had her and how old is she?
What type of method did you use as far as trust training goes?

Rescue remedy MAY help, but I cant promise. I have never used it and non of the vets I have worked with have used it, either, as many of them do not support using herbal type remedies for rats.

I am not familiar with petative aggression formula. I would have to read more about that first.

With the rescue remedy, I would suggest using 2 drops for the rat, but I still wanted to know more about the method you used for trust training, how old she is, if she has ever had a cagemate etc....
