Answer
A 4 week old bird is awfully young. Are you experienced at hand feeding? Is there any way at all to leave it with the breeder another couple weeks? Mistakes in hand feeding can be fatal and heartbreaking.
To keep the bird comfortable on the drive back, line a small plastic aquarium container (or anything similar) with soft, clean terry cloth towels or cloth diapers. All materials should be washed in half the usual amount of a mild detergent safe for babies. Rinse (without softner) twice.
You can also shred some clean newspapers - these also conduct heat.
Don't cover it completely, but keep it in a subdued light in order to keep it calm.

Please let me know how this goes for you and the bird. Do you have an avian vet lined up to do an initial check up on the bird within a week of bringing it home? This is an absolute necessity for a baby like this.
