Answer
Sorry to hear about the problems you have been having? Have you been taking them to a vet? What exactly do you mean when you say their eyes become sore? Do you mean they go crusty or start to bleed? My guess is that its some kind of virus because it wasn't affected by antibiotics, unless the antibiotics weren't strong enough but if they were prescribed by a vet then they probably were. The only way to tell what is killing your birds is to get a post mortem the next time one dies and to have some tissue or blood samples taken. If they can find out what it is then they may be able to prevent it happening to any more of your birds. What ever you do, don't get any more birds. Your cages or aviary are contaminated with the virus or bacteria and if you get more birds they will die too. Some viruses can live in the environment for years and can be extremely difficult to kill. You will have to get some disinfectant from a vet once they have found the organism that is responsible. Treating this problem is likely to be expensive but it will be worth it in the end. Good luck.
