wanted to know as to what color lovebird shall i buy

hi, i bought a pair of Blue Masked Lovebird
Agapornis p. personata var. from market yesterdays but when i was putting in the
feed one of them escaped i think a male,now i want to buy a male for the female
left but its really expencive and i donot have the money to buy another blue
masked . so is it possible to keep another color mutation with this female, if
yes then which color. i'll be waitin for ur reply,

You must buy another masked regardless not a peach faced or fischer as if they breed you want pure babies not mutts it would be an insult to bird breeders/fanciers and associatins everywhere to cross breed these wonderful birds. A normal green masked will be cheaper then a blue. Thou if you really would like another blue wait a few weeks until you have more money...dont buy something you'll regret getting later on..as breeding a green to a blue will likely not get blue babies, if you get a green that has blue in one of the parents will should get some blue babies.
