HELP I NEED INFORMATION ON MY PARAKEETS

Question
I HAVE A MALE AND FEMALE PARAKEETS. MY FRIEND HAD 2 MALES AND 2 FEMALES. WE SEPERATED THEM . KNOW THEY ARE FIGHTING WITH EACH OTHER. THEY SEAM SO MEAN TO EACH OTHER. WHAT SHOULD I DO? I REAL DON'T WANT TO GIVE THEM BACK BUT I LOVE THEM SO MUCH IF IT IS BETTER TO GIVE THEM BACK TO HER I WILL
WHAT SHOULD I DO?
I HAVE A OTHER QUESTION DO PARAKEETS NEED GRAVEL IN THEIR FOODf?

Hello Dottie and thank you for posting.
I am hoping that you did NOT put the new parakeets in with the ones that were already in the cage as soo as you got the new ones home.  They should be in seperate cages, and intorduced slowly, especially right now, when it's breeding season.  The males are hormonal. and the females are protective of their nes and eggs.
To answer about the gravel, they do NOT need it in their food.  I do not even use gravel for any of my birds.  There is enough of a balanced diet with my birds that they do not need the gravel.
