Question
Is it possible to tame a 6 month old gallah. Also can you make him talk.

Answer
--  Given that these birds live well into their 50-60's these days, 6 months old is just a BABY!  You've got 50 years to teach it anything HE wants to learn.

-- Can YOU learn new things even though you're way, way older than 6 months?  Of course you can.  Will you still be able to learn new things next year?  How about in 5 years?  Or 10?  Exactly when do you think you'll stop being able to learn new things?

--- That's how these birds are.  Always able to learn new things.  Always!

As for going to talk?  Well, here's another question for you:  Can you sing?  Can you dance?  Can you be an accountant?  How about a lawyer?  Maybe a doctor?  Rocket scientist?  Ballerina? Gymnast?  Olympic skater?

Not everyone is destined to be good at everything.  Some of us can dance our pants off, others can sing so beautifully it makes the angels jealous.  Some birds are going to be GREAT talkers, others are destined to just be EXCELLENT listeners.

Since they don't mind that you aren't going to be the next astronaut to the moon, it would be nice if you loved them back just as unconditionally as they love you.  Even if they don't talk much.

--- BUT, if you're patient and keep remembering that you've got a big lifetime ahead of you with this intelligent bird, chances are he'll talk just because he loves you and has something to say.

---- Make sure you're doing everything right
