Baby Peach Face Love Birds

Hi I was given a pair of peach faces for my birthday and the female now has 6 eggs under her and she has started sitting today. The previous owner has informed me that she has had other babies before but the mother bird had killed them when they were still small. Can you please help me by telling me how i can go about hand raising the babies when they are born or is there anything that i can do to stop her killing them PLEASE...

A lot of times the parents will kill the babies because they have birth defects that we are unable to determine at such a young age. I would advise you to contact a breeder to get advice on breeding and pulling babies to handfeed. Or go to www.avianavenue.com
