feathers growing back

Hi,i have my lovebird for 5 days now and shes 4 weeks old and her first 5 wing feathers were clipped the day before i got her.I was wondering for how much weeks or months will her wing feathers grow back so that she can fly.

Hello Aneta and thank you for your question,

It will be around her 6th or 7th month that the feathers will moult and replace the clipped ones. I reccomend clipping feathers for housepets who are let out of cage thou there are too many lost parrots every year flying out opening doors or windows.
