Hairless mouse

Question
Just within this past week I have lost a pet mouse. He first went blind, refused to eat or drink and rolled instead of walked. And now just a few days later, I discovered that my other mouse that was in the same cage has spots of missing hair and what looks like little bumps on his skin where the hair is missing. Is there anything I can do to make sure that this doesn't kill him too?
And I just cleaned out his cage and cleaned it thoroughly.

Answer
I haven't come across this problem before, however with similar problem I have had used Athletes' foot remedy powder and this helped with skin and hair loss problems.

If they are related it may be genetic. Old mice also have a tendency to lose hair 12 months  . It may be an allergic reaction towards something in the cage (although this is unlikely).

I would suggest a trip to the vet as they may be able to suggest a treatment.

I'm sorry I cannot help any further, please feel free to ask any more question.
