Yes indeed, the two moms can share a nest. They will be happy to take turns staying with the babies and enjoy more free time out of the nest! I've done this often.
Watch out, though, if one has babies first: Watch the behavior of the expecting mother. It's possible she will want to make the nest just for her babies and become aggressive. Still, I have always had success.
