Question
Hey Tamarah!

hope things are well.

Just a quick email here,

Reember my domestic mouse carol?
Well since she had her babies she has lived non stop with her girls (6 in total) for about 4 months now.
I bought a new wire cage and wanted to use it but only SHE cannot find through the bars but her girls can. Anyway i have put heri n this cage on her own but i am worried in case her girls need her sitll or if she misses them and gets depressed.
Is this ocmmon or is it just not like that in the mouse world? Do they get over things like that quickly?
If they she wasn't ok on her own and i put her in with her girls in say 3 days time would they have forgotten her and start savaging her or something?

Thanks very much Tamarah!!

Mart.

Answer
Hey Mart,

All mice are different, so you'll have to watch her personally to see if she misses them.  Some mice need social interaction more than others, and some less.  I think in three days you might have a few little scuffles as they rework the hierarchy, but it shouldn't be any big deal.  Just watch them when you do and make sure everyone is getting along.  :)
