Filbert

Hi Tamarah
I checked on filbert this morning, he seemed to be in a catatonic state, even when I tapped on the tube he barely moved. I put the flash light on him and he moved a little but not much? What do I do? I'm scared. Am I too late to help him.? I don't know what's wrong with him. Should I try to get him out of the tube even though it may scare him? I don't know what to do.

Hi Leah,

Hopefully his state has changed or he was just resting (or trying to get some privacy, since tubes are comfy), but if not, this is a situation where you would need to bring him to a vet. Even when it seems too late, you can bring his entire cage set up into the vet and ask them to help. Look for other signs of illness and check for food, water, and stool, as these are things the vet will ask about.
