is my crab molting?

dear lolagranola, my crab, Rocky has ben burying himself for at least 2 days. i suspected he was molting, but i realized he wasn't burying himself all the way. Is he molting? and if so... what can i do to help prevent a bad ending?

Is he your only crab? If he is, then he's fine, if you think he is in danger of being attacked during a molt you could isolate him from the other crabs with a 2 liter bottle cut of and pushed down into the sand. Make sure he has food and water though. And air.
