fadle or wet tail

I have a 7 year old female guinea pig. She recently started to lose weight. I just noticed that her hind quarter is damp. Can she get better?

Wet tail is normally a condition that occurs in smaller animals such as hamsters. It is perhaps more likely that she is sitting in a place she has urinated.

Your pet is getting very old for a piggy, but I am sure a qualified vet would be able to help. There's no reason to think she cant get better.
