Pregnancy or Ovarian cyst?

Question
Hi

I own Hutches Rescue in Alyth, Perthshire, Scotland.

I have a mystery on my hands.

I have a guinea pig who was brought into the rescue 1st April 2011 at the time I was told she maybe pregnant.

I have been through many pregnancies with other piggies and the longest gestation I have seen is 76 days?

Even if this piggy gave birth tonight and conceived on 31st march that would be a 79 day gestation is this possible?
Do you think OVARIAN CYST INSTEAD?

Answer
the longest i have ever known is 65 days, 60 is the norm, 79 is mad, that would be like a woman being pregnant for a full year. it is either a baby that has grown too large (very unlikly)or an ovarian cyst or some other illness that might cause the stomach to swell, it is definatly not normal. even if it is a baby then the baby will have developped to a point now where giving birth would be impossible.
