My syrian hamster Angel

My hamster is pregnant and everytime she runs on the metal wheel it's hard for her to keep her feet on those little bars is there an invention for that?
Also, when my hamster uses the wheel at night it makes this irritating noise at night because it squeaks! is there a invention for that?
One more thing, i made this cardboard house for my hamster because she sleeps better when it's dark and the house i made her i put tape over it and she eats it. is there a invention for that?

There is a different type of wheel I've seen thats solid plastic with 3 holes for entrance so instead of continuos bars, its a hard plastic disk with entrance holes that works the same way. I saw it in a pet store ad in the Sunday paper. Mine did the exact same thing keeping me up at night. Eather you can take the wheel out while you sleep, or I put petrolium jelly on the parts where the wheel connects to the stand. It works for a little while. Don't put tape on your hamsters house, it can be very dangerous. The chemicals in the tape can harm the hamster when it chews it off. I would suggest buying a hamster hide out from the pet store. They offer them in many varieties like whicker nest things or plastic houses. Good Luck!
