Hamster Hiygene( i dont know how to spell that)

I have had my hamsters for about 2 yrs theyre healthy andhappy. We change their cage twice a week and after about 2 days after we changed it, they start to smell again. We are wondering if you are able to give hamsters baths or wet them down with a towel, or something to keep them clean. Im worried it would give them wet tail or something like that.

Great question. No, you should never have to get a hamster wet. Unless there is something toxic on there fur.

Try getting chinchilla sand and put it in a bowl. Let them play around in that. This will clean their fur and leave them smelling good. =]
