Question
I have a marshall ferret here about 2 or 3 years old and he started out with a lip and i brought him to the vet and they did a full exam and x-rays and everything was fine they just gave us fluids to give him (those shots)and it seems to help, but not enough you can also tell hes hanging on he just wont move he pees on him self and just doesnt have enough strenght i siringe feed him the marshall fetter food warmed up into an oatmel mixture, we then brought him back the next day and they said he might have limpnomia but i dont see any signs of it write back please!

Answer
I would first write to the breeder and ask them if this problem is known to run in their lines.  If they won't respond, start joining groups for ferrets and etc and post and ask them if they have had these problems.

Hind-Limb Weakness
This is not an uncommon presentation and has been referred to by ferret owners as "Staggers". However, it is not a single disease but merely a sign that could be attributed to numerous causes including intervertebral disc disease, hypocalcaemia, viral myelitis, Aleutian disease, spinal damage, bone marrow suppression, and dietary imbalances such as thiamine deficiency.

I do hope that it is not the disease your vet has stated that it is because that would be cancer.  I think I would get a second opinion just to be sure.
