shoulder train

Question
Everytime i put Gizmo on my shoulder to be held, she will stay for a second and then start to bite my ear, and it really hurts. Not quite sure of the age, still waiting on the birth certificate, but I would guess about 6 months. Can you give me any tips on how to train her to be held? Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello Britney and thank you for your question.

If he bites everytime he's on your shoulder you can either not put him there and hold him in your arms instead or you can put a dab of vinger or bitter apple spray on your ear, then your ferret may not bite your ear or if he does it will taste bad an he will not do it again.
