What are the clear signs that a ferret is pregnant?

I am going to be honest with you: I have never had experience with a pregnant ferret personally. I only know the basics about ferret pregnancy and births.

I do know that a pregnant ferret's vulva will begin to dry and shrink about a week after the mating process and then after about three to four weeks, the vulva should return to normal.

If you think your ferret is pregnant and you think she is a couple weeks into it, then you could gently feel her belly and feel the little babies.
