losing hair and weight

This is my first ferret. She is 1 year old and has been doing just great. I have noticed lately she is shedding. This seems to be the wrong time of year for that. She also seems to be somewhat skinnier.

I'm not sure what happened, but I am sorry your question didn't get answered sooner. We're now some time past when you wrote with your ferret having lost some fur and some weight and I'm just wondering if you could please give an update on her current condition?  Has she put any weight back on or gotten any fur back?

I hope she has, but if she has not, I hope you have taken her to the vet for an exam.   Please write and let me know and I will be happy to try to  help if there is anything I can do for you.
